Privacy Policy

ETF Radar (www.theetfradar.com) and its YouTube channel @etfradarvideo are a non-commercial macro research project. This page explains what data the site and the channel handle.
Website
- No sign-up and no personal information is collected. The site has no accounts, forms or comments.
- No cookies. The browser stores a single local setting that remembers a dismissed language hint; it is never sent to any server.
- Analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, does not track visitors across sites, and only aggregates page URL, referring site, browser and device type, and country or region.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To serve and protect the site, Cloudflare processes network request data such as IP addresses; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Embedded videos. Video thumbnails on the briefings pages load from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com); the YouTube player loads only after you click play, in youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced mode. Playback is subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Archive search. When the semantic search on the briefings page is used, the query text is sent to Cloudflare's edge service, converted into a vector and matched against the archive. The project does not log or store search queries.
YouTube channel and uploader
- The project uses the YouTube Data API, authorised through Google OAuth, only to upload videos and captions to the project's own YouTube channel. The granted scopes are limited to uploading videos (youtube.upload) and managing captions on the channel's own videos (youtube.force-ssl).
- The uploader does not access, collect or store data about viewers or any other Google user. Its credentials are kept only on the computer that runs the project and are not shared with third parties.
- When videos are watched, viewer data is handled by YouTube under its own policies. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- The project's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
